My focus is on solving the most important societal challenges and developing and using (social) innovation to achieve this goal. I believe in a better, more inclusive world with a lower footprint.
I am an urban professional with over 20 years of hands-on project and process experience and have created and implemented many ideas and concepts. I am most motivated by sustainable propositions and the challenge to create real measurable impact. I am always looking to increase this impact by creating a high level of involvement and ownership, both with co-creators and end users.

Experience

Director Innovation & Development - Winst uit je woning

2020 - 2024
Scaling up housing sustainability requires intermediary organisations between governments, market and homeowners to increase the scope for action and trust and to lower the thresholds. I have successfully developed appropriate services for this, set up and expanded teams, leading to a stable collaboration with 70 municipalities and a total investment volume of more than €100 million.

 

COO and co-founder - ThuisBaas

2016 - 2020

Energy-neutral living means no natural gas and the independent generation of all required sustainable electricity. I co-founded the social enterprise ThuisBaas with the aim of introducing and emancipating energy-neutral living in the Netherlands. As a one-stop shop and main contractor, ThuisBaas helps homeowners from A (custom advice) to Z (implementation and aftercare) with making their homes run completely  fossil free.
